I cannot tell the difference.īold espresso, white chocolate, peppermint, and frothy milk are combined and topped with whipped cream and chocolate curls to make this sweet and indulgent wintertime treat.Īnother reason I needed to come up with a DIY peppermint mocha recipe? I have a bad habit of making a cup of coffee and promptly forgetting about it. One of my favorite things to do is make a stop at Starbucks for a peppermint white chocolate mocha before making a late-night trip to the grocery store. The peppermint white chocolate mocha from Starbucks is a mocha latte fan favorite, and I am certainly one of those fans. These easy-to-follow instructions will teach you how to make a luscious and creamy Starbucks copycat peppermint white chocolate mocha. The battle of the Peppermint Mocha ends with a victory for Starbucks.White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha. The latte is creamy, smooth, and the customer service is excellent. If I had to choose the winner of the two coffee chains, I would have to go with Starbucks’ Peppermint Mocha. While it is not my favorite and customer service does not always get your order right, it is priced well and services its purpose. I give Dunkin’s Peppermint Mocha latte 3/5 stars. Customer service is not the best, as they constantly are known for messing up your order. The mocha is a little overpowering, taking away some of the peppermint flavors in the drink. However, the flavor of the latte is rich, and the chocolate in the mocha does not taste cheap. Not to mention if you have allergies or sensitivities to dairy and want replacement milk, that’s an extra $0.80 upcharge. Given that the cup is 12 ounces, and 4 ounces of that is filled up by ice, you’re not getting much bang for your buck. A tall (a small in Starbucks terms) Peppermint Mocha latte is $5.45. Starbucks has always had soaring prices for its coffee. However, thanks to my excellent taste buds and great coffee taste, the fight of the peppermint mochas stands no longer. This annual treat made Starbucks competitors come with new flavors and ideas to draw back their customers. Since 2015, Starbucks has released their Peppermint Mocha latte every year on Nov. But what makes or breaks their customer engagement is their signature Peppermint Mocha latte. The two rival coffee chains compete with their festive holiday drinks of Chestnut Praline and Toasted White Chocolate lattes. 3 and 4, Starbucks and Dunkin released their 2021 holiday drink menu.
